Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)
This technology combines the benefit of light with the power of heat. It is used to treat a variety of conditions and has become extremely popular as a "photo-facial", designed to reverse common signs of sun-damage such as brown spots and fine lines. IPL is also extremely effective in the treatment of acne, rosacea, and for hair reduction.
Dr. Skolnik and Dr. Schulman are active in the research and development of new IPL technologies and have developed treatment protocols to provide you with maximum benefits.

For the treatment of fine lines and brown spots associated with sun-damage, three to six treatment sessions, every three to four weeks may be required for maximum effect. Treatment of acne requires a series of eight sessions over a four week time span. The treatment protocol for hair reduction depends on the area being treated and the amount of hair. In general, you may require four to six sessions every four weeks.
